Our ELA Curriculum: Amplify CKLA – Empowering Readers, Writers, and Thinkers

At Edison Elementary School, we are proud to offer Amplify CKLA (Core Knowledge Language Arts) as our comprehensive English Language Arts curriculum. Designed to build strong foundations in reading, writing, speaking, and listening, Amplify CKLA combines rich content knowledge with explicit skill-building to develop confident, curious, and capable learners.

Amplify CKLA is more than just a reading program—it’s a journey through language, history, science, and culture. Students not only learn how to read but also what to read, gaining a deep understanding of the world around them as they develop essential literacy skills.
